Meet Osborn!

Osborn is celebrating his twentieth birthday this month on June 26.
Sea lions in the ocean typically live to be 10-15 years old, but in zoos and aquariums they can live into their late 20s and early 30s due to the exceptional care they receive. Osborn lives at WCS’s New York Aquarium where he participates in our Sea Lion Celebration shows. Many of our guests remember Osborn and look forward to seeing him during their return visits to the aquarium. We have estimated that Osborn has inspired over fifteen million people to protect his species and conserve our environment over the course of his lifetime thus far. Osborn brings joy to his trainers and guests each day. He enjoys learning, eating ice and jello, and long naps in the sunshine.
Happy twentieth birthday, Osborn!
