Spotting a Snowy Owl

Walking in a field, we had the opportunity to spot a snowy owl (Bubo scandiacus) sitting on a fence after a light snowfall that dusted everything around us.
I walked for a few minutes to get a bit closer. I simply loved the snow on the branches and how well it camouflaged the owl.
After a short time on its post, the beautiful bird just disappeared.
