Alana is a senior wild animal keeper in the ornithology department at the Wildlife Conservation Society’s Bronx Zoo. She started her career with WCS in 1999 as an intern in the zoo’s ornithology department. In 2000, Alana became an intern in WCS’s science resource center before returning to the ornithology department as a keeper. Since 2009, her work has primarily focused on avian propagation.
