Wildlife Conservation Society

Andrew Kathriner is a wild animal keeper at the Wildlife Conservation Society’s Bronx Zoo herpetology department. Inspired at a young age by naturalist presenters such as Steve Irwin and David Attenborough, Andrew knew he wanted to make a career in herpetology. He began volunteering at the Bronx Zoo’s World of Reptiles in 2010, and continued conducting herpetological-based research in both his undergraduate and graduate school careers until he joined the World of Reptiles staff in 2013.
