It is important to keep an eye on your kids in busy public places, especially in big cities like Washington DC.
I was chaperoning our annual overnight trip to Washington DC for my eighth-grade students at PS/IS 102 Bayview in Queens, New York. I was busy keeping a very close eye on 150 children for two days straight.
It was funny to see these Canada geese (Branta canadensis) doing the same thing with their goslings.
