Southbound in the Sky

Louis CandelariaWhile taking photos at sunset along the Hudson River in Tarrytown, New York, I heard a flock of Canada geese (Branta canadensis) in the distance. Their honks grew louder as they got closer. The birds were headed my way. Suddenly, they flew over my head in V-formation. I got this shot during the split second they passed by me.
