Seeing the Zoo Anew
- as seen by -
Sarah HezelI work at the Bronx Zoo all year long, and get to see the place anew when my children come for zoo camp every summer.
Both of my daughters look forward to learning more about animals at camp. Our strolls across the park at the beginning and end of each day are filled with excitement.
Some mornings, we linger with the California sea lions. And we like to keep an eye out for one of the zoo’s iconic denizens of the season – an Indian peafowl hen and her brood of chicks in all their fluffy, new glory.
