Bullfrog in the Wetland

Even though we live on a fresh water brook in Baldwin, New York, we have never seen one frog in the 42 years we have been here.

However, only three miles away in Rockville Centre, there is Tanglewood Preserve, a small fresh water wetland and forest area. A small jewel, it has a wide variety of wildlife. Its large pond usually has a number of waterfowl as well as dragonflies and other insects.

On this day, I was fortunate to spot this bullfrog right at the edge of the pond. It allowed me to snap a few images.
