Sunrise Tribute to the Kings

It is six in the morning on the beach of Gold Harbor. I am surrounded by glaciers, mountains, and life. The sun stains the ocean, ice, sand, fur, and feathers with a bright golden hue.

A huge colony of king penguins watches the sun rise with me. The entire colony seems to pay tribute to the sea and the new day.
