Dartmouth University

Michael Butler Brown is a conservation biologist and researcher at Dartmouth College. In association with the Giraffe Conservation Foundation, he works to monitor population dynamics and spatial ecology of the endangered Rothschild's giraffe in Uganda. Throughout his experiences in applied ecology and field research, he rarely is without a camera. Photography offers a wonderful medium to re-interpret and share these experiences. Formerly the project manager of Princeton University's Laikipia Zebra Project at Mpala Research Centre, Michael also has an MA in conservation biology from Columbia University.
