Critter Cam in Connecticut

One of the first gifts my husband gave me after our relocation from New York City to a small town in Connecticut was a motion-activated game camera with an infrared light.
It is one of my favorite things in the whole world.
Almost every day for the past eight years I have studied the photos and videos I get on the critter cam, and I’m fascinated by the wildlife, their habits and behavior. I’ve gotten photos and videos of coyotes, foxes, opossum, raccoons, fishers, bear, deer, deer, and more deer, bobcats, stray dogs and cats, turkeys, and more.
This photo is one of my all-time favorites – a beautiful bobcat, with a very thick and healthy coat looking right into the camera as he or she strolls by looking for a late night snack.
