Ducklings by the Lake

I recently traveled to Chicago, Illinois for the first time with my mother and cousin. We made the most out of our weekend trip. The city was lively and bursting with culture, good food, and wonderful people.

Our last day there, we walked along the Navy Pier to take in the warm sun and admire the clear water of Lake Michigan. Then, we came across these babies – eight mallard ducklings, watched diligently by their mama duck, as they learned to swim. Occasionally, the waves made them bounce in the air, but they kept their balance. Their mother pulled them into procession. They went on their merry way across the lake.
