Slithering into Fashion Week

- as seen by -

Kristen Avery Kristen Avery

Fashion Week in New York is back this February. Insiders and style aficionados will all be keeping an eye on what potential trends will emerge. But one thing is for sure, color will play an important role.

It would be impossible to miss this short-nosed vine snake with its vivid hue on its own. But its green color provides a certain camouflage among the foliage of its habitat. So that vine you see swaying from a plant, may not be a vine! The snake is native to the rain forests in the regions of South Asia and most active during the day. Its snout could be seen as another distinct feature that evokes a sense of some of the angular style looks from Fashion Weeks past.

Although this snake may slither instead of strut, its bright color and striking look make a bold statement.

These snakes are actually mildly venomous. While not as dangerous as a rattlesnake, they are definitely mildly dangerous. http://www.backwaterreptiles.com
