Dr. Lucy Keatts is a veterinarian with the WCS Health Program. She became driven to focus her work on the risks that wildlife trade and anthropogenic behaviors pose to the emergence of disease whilst working in wildlife rehabilitation in Southeast Asia in 2003, just as the SARS-Coronavirus emerged from a Chinese wildlife market.
