Meredith Zinner @meredithzinnerphotographyAfter photographing a family in East Hampton, New York, I took a stroll in their spectacular and exquisitely curated rose garden. I couldn’t help but be drawn to the delightful scent and beauty of their collection. I attempted to capture this particular rose when a little visitor reminded me it was lunchtime.
Bees and flowering plants are among nature’s most well-known mutualistic relationships. Flowers benefit bees as a food source for their colonies and bees return the favor by distributing pollen to help plants reproduce.
EDITOR’S NOTE: This photo was chosen as the top submission for Wild View’s It’s the Little Things, the smaller details in nature. Congratulations!
