Sylvia is retired from the Foundation Relations team at the Wildlife Conservation Society, and now volunteers in WCS’s Library and Archives. An avid birder, she speaks Spanish and French, and recently translated into English a new Illustrated Field Guide to the Birds of Colombia by Fernando Ayerbe Quiñones of WCS-Colombia. Formerly, she was a freelance classical musician and a public interest attorney in New York City.
