Manoon Pliosungnoen has been working for the Wildlife Conservation Society Thailand since 2009. He first joined the program as a field research scientist in the Kaeng Krachan Forest Complex. Since 2011, he has been a project manager in charge of several conservation challenges in the landscape such as improving law enforcement, wildlife monitoring, and and managing human-elephant conflict under collaboration with Thai government. He is a PhD Student in Environmental and Forest Biology at the State University of New York, College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
