Eric Januszkiewicz
Eric earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology, Biochemistry, and Chemical Biotechnology from East Stroudsburg University. He went on to complete his Master’s degree in Biology, where he studied ophidiomycosis in timber rattlesnakes, before earning his PhD in 2024, focusing on rattlesnake venom biochemistry, particularly in the Great Basin rattlesnake. Currently, he is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, researching transcriptional regulation in pancreatic alpha cells as it pertains to type 1 diabetes.
