Alexandra Fernandes first started at the Wildlife Conservation Society as an intern in the library and archives, and comes from a museum background. She has a BA from Fordham University and a MLIS from SUNY Buffalo. She has loved every minute of working at the zoo, particularly the rewards of getting to walk around and gain familiarity with its occupants, both animal and human.
