Rock ‘n Roll
Assignment Open From
Jul 19 - Sep 19, 2022
Cliffs and mountains are nature’s skyscrapers, soaring towards the sky and reaching tremendous heights. Miniscule grains of sand blanket the world’s beaches and deserts. These are just some of the landscapes where wildlife can be found among nooks, caves, crevices, and coastlines.
Send in your favorite photos of animals in and around rocks of any size – a horseshoe crab’s journey along the coast, a bison taking a dust bath, or a bighorn sheep resting on a rocky ridge (right).
Our editorial team will choose the best submissions based on appeal, composition, originality, and technical quality. A group of chosen pictures will be posted on this page, and one will even be featured.
ENTER FOR A CHANCE TO WIN!
For this assignment, we are offering an incentive. The author of the featured photo chosen by our editorial team will receive a Patagonia Blackhole Duffel 55L, perfect for transporting your gear to the office, the trail, or a weekend at the beach. See the official Contest Rules for more information.
We can consider a maximum of six submissions per contributor.
