Hunters in the Sky

Assignment Open From
Jan 8 - Mar 22, 2024
Hawks, eagles, osprey, and owls are birds of prey that fly in ways to help them hunt. Sweeping through the sky, these raptors soar, glide, and dive to take their prey. Once their quest is complete, they land to dine on their catch of the day (golden eagle, right).
Point your camera high to find birds of prey above, in your backyard, or at a zoo near you. Send us your most creative photographs of hunters in the sky.
Our editorial team will choose the best submissions based on appeal, composition, originality, and technical quality. A group of chosen shots for this assignment will be posted on this page, and one will be featured.
We can consider a maximum of six submissions per contributor.
