Assignment Open From
Dec 23 - Feb 28, 2022
When temperatures drop below freezing and snow begins to fall, nature’s blanket transforms our world. Snowflakes sprinkle across a bear’s fur (brown bear, right), birds nestle among snow-covered branches, and a deer’s thick winter coat show that the season is here.
Share some of your favorite freeze frames of animals that embrace the season’s change whether wearing it or sharing its name including snowy owls, snow monkeys, snow leopards, and snowshoe hares.
Our editorial team will choose the best submissions based on appeal, composition, originality, and technical quality. A group of chosen pictures will be posted on this page, and one will even be featured.
