Moray eels are one of my favorite animals. They have an interesting, symbiotic relationship with shrimp, like the one in the picture (above). I saw this shrimp sitting on the head of the eel like a little hat, clearly hoping to schedule a cleaning appointment.
The shrimp cleans the moray eel which rids it of parasites and detritus. The shrimp gets a meal and the moray eel is groomed and looking good.
