Make Waves
Assignment Open From
Nov 17 - Dec 31, 2017
An ecological treasure trove of wildlife lives in, on, or near the water (flower hat jelly, right). Majestic whales and playful dolphins share sea space with shorebirds, crabs, and colorful coral. Otters, penguins, seals, sea turtles, sharks, and sea lions swim and sun along the sandy shores. Many are globally threatened species. Safeguarding their surroundings will help with their survival.
For this assignment, make some waves for the wildlife that relies on the sea by sharing your best marine images with us. Be it in the wild or at your favorite aquarium, the possibilities are vast.
Our editorial team will select the best submissions based on appeal, composition, originality, and technical quality. Those images will be posted on this page, and one will be featured. We can consider a maximum of four submissions per contributor.
