2017 Color in Nature Calendar Contest
Assignment Open From
Aug 10 - Aug 24, 2016
Wildlife wears color well – and not just for beauty.
Color in nature is key to animal attraction, as a disguise from predators, or as a visual warning to stay away. Some seem like perfect fits for their environments, including these vibrant macaws that preen their feathers amidst the foliage and fruits of their rainforest homes.
For our second annual Color in Nature calendar contest, send us your colorful animal photographs, and the favorites, as voted on by the public, will be used in our 2017 Wild View Color in Nature Calendar.
We can consider a maximum of three photos per contributor, so get us your best shots.
ENTER FOR A CHANCE TO WIN
For this assignment, we’re offering a prize incentive. Those who submit the 12 photos chosen for the calendar will each receive a $100 Patagonia gift card, plus five copies of the printed calendar. See the official Contest Rules.
