Sandy Oduor is a research assistant at Mpala Research Center working on elephant monitoring. Prior to joining MRC, Oduor was a research intern at National Museums of Kenya. He was awarded a grant from Conservation Leadership Program to carry out survey on birds and mammals at Boni-Dodori Forest, North Coast, Kenya. He was also awarded a scholarship by Tropical Biology Association to attend training in Kirindy Forest, Madagascar. Sandy Oduor holds a BS in Wildlife Management from Moi University.
