Jay Schoen is formerly the Assistant Supervisor of Special Animal Exhibits at the Wildlife Conservation Society's Bronx Zoo. He joined WCS in 2012, where he began as an intern in the Bronx Zoo's Mammal Department. Originally from California, Jay gained a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from UC Santa Barbara in 2011. After beginning his career with the Santa Barbara Zoo and San Diego Zoo Global, his passion for all aspects of the natural world drew him to WCS’s unique combination of zoological education and global conservation.
