Jonathan C. Slaght and Julie Larsen
Wildlife Conservation Society
Jonathan C. Slaght, Ph.D., is the Regional Director of the Wildlife Conservation Society’s Temperate Asia Program, with oversight of programs in Russia, China, Mongolia, and Afghanistan, and projects in Central Asia. Julie Larsen is the sixth person appointed as staff photographer for WCS since it was founded in 1895. She takes photos at WCS’s five New York-based wildlife parks, and the culture, wildlife, and wild lands that WCS aims to protect in more than 60 countries.
