Dr. Gill Braulik is a specialist on whales and dolphins (cetaceans), with particular interest in conservation-focused research on endangered dolphins in the developing world. She is Director of the Wildlife Conservation Society Whale and Dolphin Evaluation (WADE) project in Tanzania. She was awarded a Pew Marine Fellowship in 2013 which is supporting her work to conduct a rapid assessment of cetaceans in Tanzania by combining information on their occurrence and distribution as well as on threats from this previously unknown area.
